Growing up is often challenging – for our dogs too. That's why dog food for adult animals has to meet special criteria. It should promote agility , maintain a healthy metabolism , and be easily digestible . In addition, the food must have a sufficiently high energy and mineral content . The most important and fundamental element is protein. In entoVITAL ADULT, insects, more precisely the black soldier fly "Hermetia illucens," form the protein source.

Insect protein is considered highly digestible , cruelty-free , produces no slaughterhouse waste , requires no animal transport , and is 100% usable. Its sustainability is particularly noteworthy! The production of insect protein for entoVITAL ADULT is climate-friendly , requires ten times less land than the production of other animal proteins, and avoids emissions.

As with our entoVITAL HYPOALLERGENIC, insect protein is also the sole animal protein source in ADULT, but with a variety of delicious ingredients. Additionally, a special digest in the food allows dogs to optimally metabolize the nutrients. This automatically leads to increased vitality and improved health.

Feed and grain?

Dogs are considered "carnivores," which is often used as a basis for feeding them exclusively or almost exclusively meat. However, the term "carnivore" is misleading when you consider that dogs, like wolves, need a balanced diet . This should not consist solely of meat, but should also include the nutrients from bones, blood, and the gastrointestinal contents of their prey.

The role of carbohydrates, especially starch and insoluble fiber from plant fibers, is often underestimated. These are crucial not only for energy supply but also for intestinal flora and motility.

entoVITAL ADULT specifically targets this healthy intestinal flora and supports digestive processes , which is particularly beneficial for middle-aged and older dogs or animals with a sensitive gastrointestinal tract .

The size of the kibbles (croquettes) is 1,3cm x 1,3cm x 0,7cm, just right so that larger breeds still get a good bite size, but also small breeds have no problem ingesting them.

entoVITAL ADULT is recommended from the 10th month onwards, depending on the size of the breed (see feeding recommendation).
