How does that work? By using insect protein as the only protein source in entoVITAL DOG hypoallergenic dry food!

Our insect protein is derived from the black soldier fly (Hermetia Illucens). This insect has such a small footprint, 90% less than farm animals such as cattle.

Example : one ton of black soldier fly consumes the space of about one small smart to produce protein. Or imagined differently, like your little office desk. So much less than the same amount of beef would be required.

What is the black soldier fly?

Coming from the weapon fly family, the insect can grow from 14 (male) to 17 mm (female) in length. Slender and consisting almost only of protein, it is used especially as a forage insect in livestock production.

Started in 2017, we quickly realized that the black soldier fly is perfect as a protein source for very food sensitive and allergic dogs.

In addition to being very easy to digest, dogs especially love the nutty aroma of black soldier fly – entoVITAL DOG hypoallergenic dry food is often eaten away faster than many a dog owner would like for this reason alone 😉.

How does this work? By using insect protein as the sole protein source in entoVITAL DOG hypoallergenic dry food!

The insect protein comes from the black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens). This insect has such a small footprint that it is 90% smaller than that of farm animals such as cattle.

For example, one ton of black soldier fly consumes approximately the interior surface area of a small Smart car to produce its protein. Or, to put it another way, the surface area of your small office desk. That's significantly less than the same amount of beef would require.

What is the black soldier fly?

Originating from the family of soldier flies, this insect can grow to a length of 14 mm (male) to 17 mm (female). Slender and consisting almost entirely of protein, it is primarily used as a feed insect in livestock farming.

Starting in 2017, we quickly discovered that the black soldier fly is a perfect protein source for dogs that are very food-sensitive or allergic.

Instructions for use: The recommended initial duration of use is 3-8 weeks. Once the intolerance symptoms subside, entoVITAL DOG hypoallergenic can be fed for life.

During the first few weeks of feeding, some animals may experience changes, and it is important to ensure that these changes are normal and that no adverse effects occur.
