Dragon's blood is the intensely red resin of the dragon's blood tree. This valuable natural resin owes its properties to around 40 different active ingredients, including phenols, flavonoids, steroids, and terpenoids. Dragon's blood is naturally rich in OPC—it contains up to 90% of one of the most effective natural antioxidants.
Our ultrapure dragon's blood comes 100% from sustainable, hand-harvested cultivation by the indigenous Quichua people. Our dragon's blood is extracted by cutting the bark. The plants grow at an altitude of over 1000 meters, far from air pollution and soil contamination.
Through a fruitful partnership with the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Graz, we have developed innovative quality control procedures for Dragon's Blood. Thanks to this close collaboration, we can proudly state that our Dragon's Blood clearly contains highly valued ingredients compared to other products on the market.
